2017 Chinese New Year is arriving on January 28, 2017, and to celebrate the Year of the Rooster, Sheraton Melbourne Hotel is hosting a Chinese inspired Seafood Buffet at Little Collins St Kitchen.

In the lead up to Chinese New Year, we invite diners to feast on everyone’s favourite traditional Chinese dishes such as Xiao Long Bao (Shanghai Dumplings), Roasted Peking Duck and Red Bean Soup with Coconut Milk, as well as fresh seasonal seafood including Coffin Bay Oysters, Blue Swimmer Crab and Local Black Mussels.

Hosted at the glamorous Grand Ballroom on Level 2, our Chinese New Year dinner will be a sumptuous 10-course Chinese banquet crafted by the Hutong Group with traditional Chinese performances including Lion Dance, Beijing Opera and Traditional Chinese Folk Music. *Continuing with the now yearly tradition, Sheraton Melbourne Hotel will display its Signature Kumquat Trees at the hotel and entrance and in Little Collins St Kitchen to wish for wealth and good luck. Diners will also be treated to a traditional Chinese Lion Dance performance by Jow Ga Kuen Martial Arts Association on Friday, 27 January, 2017.
